Product analyst - student job

We are looking for a student to help us with product analysis tasks in Oslavany.

As a working student, you will research and write reports on software features, user interface design, and product positioning. You will convert ideas into detailed requirements and help to prioritize features. You can gain deep insights into product management and software development while participating in the definition of our products.

Previous experience with product management is not required, but you'll need good user-level IT proficiency. You will work on-site or remotely as your schedule permits, with weekly or bi-weekly synchronization meetings in Oslavany.

What you'll be doing

Your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Understand customer experience for a particular software product. Identify customer expectations, needs, and wants. Ultimately, conceptualize customer segments and industry-specific solutions.
  • Translate high-level product strategy to detailed functional, visual, and performance requirements.
  • Develop product pricing.
  • Evaluate and scope product requirements to ensure consistency of the product line. Adjust products to benefit from component reuse, both internal and external.
  • Cooperate with a cross-functional team to develop UI design, software prototype, and promotional materials.
  • Amend documents after feedback. Iteratively improve existing requirements.

About you

You should have the following skills and experience:

  • Proficiency with computer programs such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, and image editing software.
  • Strong analytical skills. Ability to analyze marketing data, customer behavior, user-level software topics, competition, and products.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to work a couple of hours weekly (outside the exam period).
